3. Nature of the service
LabelRating is a free, non-commercial service publishing artist reviews of music labels. The site sells no products, carries no advertising, and accepts no payment from the companies it lists. See the independence charter.
Conflict of interest disclosure: the site's publisher, Rylaris Music Group, is itself a music label and therefore appears in the catalogue. This is flagged by a notice on that label's page and set out in section 2 of the charter.
4. Hosting of user content
Reviews are written by users. With respect to that content, the publisher acts as a host: it is not subject to a general obligation to monitor content, but promptly removes manifestly unlawful content reported to it. Nonetheless, every review is moderated before it goes live.
5. Reporting content
To report unlawful content, a factual error, or to request removal of a review: toni@rylarismusic.com. State the URL concerned, the nature of the problem and, where possible, supporting evidence.
6. Intellectual property
The site's structure, editorial texts and visual identity are the property of the publisher. Label names, trademarks and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes. Reviews remain the property of their authors.
