My experience with Solar Media
Solar Media initially accepted my track and requested the full track files. They also asked me to create the cover artwork, which I did in good faith. However, when I started asking for the actual contract and clarification about the release terms, the communication became very disappointing. The A&R’s communication was disrespectful and unprofessional, and after I requested the contract, they stopped responding. In the end, despite accepting the track and receiving the requested materials, there was no release, no clear explanation, and no proper follow-up. As an artist, I believe transparency, professional communication, and respect are essential when working with labels. Unfortunately, this was not my experience with Solar Media. I would strongly recommend getting the contract and all release terms clearly confirmed in writing before providing materials or investing time into the release process.
