Overall Okay Experience

Overall had a good experience with them, their team is pretty chill when you get the chance to talk to them. Had no problems with the contracts, no red flags, everything seems pretty good etc. and barely any delays when it comes to releasing, but it does have some cons: 1. Marketing team is very limited and promo isn't too strong, only like 2 - 3 people and not all are too good at it yet as well - one of their marketers is honestly amazing but he's more focused and locked in when it comes to $car$cheme or the Rubix Music Group in my opinion (he's not in-house). 2. Very hard to get in-touch with the owner, very busy and ghosts a lot even if it's urgent, also pretty forgetful. Other than that the performance is pretty good, overall experience from submitting to promo is pretty smooth other than the unresponsive-ness, and good vibes with their team. One thing I like about them is that they recognize their mistakes instead of trying to hide it. they build off of it and make improvements which is good.

I honestly have a bit mixed opinion about Polaris, even though I already have a few releases with them. Pros: - Great initial promo investment. Promos actually start well, better than many competitors. - Contract is quite simple and clear. No red flags. They didn't want to put exact promotion details though, but they still delivered and agreed to do what I asked them to do, so I can't really complain. - One more about promo, the content was on point. They actually choose fitting creators. Cons: - I think their promo scaling is not too good. I had a song which had a pretty good stream-peak, tiktok edit with a few million views (which boosted algo like crazy), but they still didn't really increase the budget to push it further. I feel like the song's potential got a bit wasted. Maybe I just got unlucky though. - As people already been saying, communication is actually really bad. Seek is a cool guy but most of the time you can wait weeks for a response. - I don't know if it's just me, but 50% of my releases with them, did not appear on my Spotify for Artists before release, which made it impossible to pitch. Spotify's support had no idea what's the reason, and well, Polaris didn't fix either cause of communication issues xd If not for those cons, it could've been one of the best Phonk/Funk labels on the scene, cause overall they do a great job. At the moment, I can't give more than 3 stars, communication is just too big of a red flag.

out of 10 songs only one got good attention, they just sign your song and never promo unless the marketers / team actually tells eachother to, u can almost never get in touch with the owner, and their vision honestly sucks. one of the hardest labels to work with and their budget is also really low even the song itself is insane and has lot of potential

I’ve released some music with Polaris. The contract is solid—no issues there—but the label doesn't promote every track they release; they might overlook a song and fail to promote it. Payments are generally made every three months, though personally, I’ve never received a single cent because of recoupable costs. That’s standard practice, though. The label is an option, but perhaps not the top choice. Polaris has managed to make plenty of tracks go viral—it takes a bit of luck, but that’s rare.
